Cal-OES CRU Nets & Frequencies

The Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) runs weekly HF radio nets for Government Locations, Operation Centers, Authorized Alternates, and Official Relay Stations.

While Cal OES encourages amateur radio operators in the public sector to monitor these nets, it should be noted that the H.F. net is not intended for amateur radio operators in the public sector to check into. This net is for existing rosters and Net Control will call stations from that roster.

Cal OES holds a Monday evening VHF net at 2015 hours, and a Wednesday noon VHF net held on the SARC/W6AK repeater, on 146.910 (Minus) Tone 162.2.

These two nets are controlled nets, and visitors are welcome to check in to these VHF nets, when Net Control askes for visitor stations.

During actual emergencies and/or disasters, these nets may be operational for any station to report emergency needs.

During such emergencies and/or disasters, please contact Net Control for assistance.

(Note: If you are an E.O.C. or other government center that would like to be included on the H.F. roster,
please email your request to Ben Green)
